It has officially been announced, the New York Yankees will be bringing its biggest stars to Tampa Bay, FL to benefit the Boys & Girls clubs of Tampa Bay in March.

COST:  Starts at $300.00 for “general admission” and then the price goes up for VIP tickets (no bats allowed, but all other items including jerseys, baseballs, photos, etc are allowed)

Click here to purchase tickets and to inquire about the different costs and VIP tickets.  We highly recommend that you call first about the autograph signings.  From the description on the Boys & Girls Clubs of Tampa Bay website, it is unclear whether the general admission ticket ($300) will allow autograph signings.

When I first read about this Yankees event, I was ready to call the airlines and start planning this trip. Then, I went a little further into the registration process.  It is still very unclear whether or not the general admission ticket of $300.00 will allow you get autographs or if it is just to attend the luncheon.  Perhaps that’s the reason why the $1200.00 “Hall of Fame” ticket sold out so quickly as it allows opportunities for autographs for sure.  Again, I would highly recommend that you call and confirm before making plans.

Needless to say, if the $300.00 ticket allows for you to stand in line and get autographs of the biggest current Yankees stars, then that price is only a fraction of its worth.  Derek Jeter’s or Alex Rodriguez’s autograph (on a baseball) alone is each worth at least 3/4 of the ticket price.

If the $300 ticket price only allows for you to attend the luncheon, I think this is still a great opportunity to meet the biggest MLB stars, but more importantly it benefits the Boys & Girls clubs.  Who knows, you may be able to get autographs afterward.
