Several OSU Players Projected To Be 1st Round 2009 NFL Draft Picks To Appear For Autograph Signing Session
Several projected 1st round 2009 NFL Draft picks from Ohio State University will be appearing at several different locations from Sunday, February 1, 2009 through Tuesday, February 10, 2009.
The full schedule, locations, and times can be viewed here.
COST: $15 or $20 depending on player
The 3 players from OSU scheduled to attend are:
- Chris “Beanie” Wells – Beanie is projected to be drafted from the teens to late first round. He is considered to be one of the top 2 running backs in the 2009 NFL draft. Several different sources have Beanie Wells as the #1 RB or #2 RB (behind Georgia’s Knowshon Moreno).
- Malcolm Jenkins – Jenkins is a sure lock to be drafted in the top 10. He is easily considered to be the best cornerback in the 2009 NFL draft.
- James Laurinaitis – Besides having the awesome “300″ like last name, Laurinaitis is projected to be drafted in the late 1st round, possibly dropping down to early 2nd round. He is widely considered to be the #2 inside linebacker behind the #1 ILB in the draft, USC’s Rey Maualuga.
This is a great opportunity to meet potential stars in the NFL. Just think of it this way, you have a 33% chance of hitting and the prospects look pretty good since none of them are quarterbacks from OSU. At $15 or $20 I would highly recommend you get an authentic Ohio State jersey and get it signed. All 3 players, even if they flop in the NFL, are still considered to be top players to go through the Ohio State football program. Or, you can do your own research, project where you think each of these 3 players will land, purchase some team gear and hope that what you read was correct. Either way, this autograph signing is a can’t miss and you have multiple opportunities to do so. Multiple opportunities=multiple autographs. Can’t miss event.
