Southern California is known for having multiple promo autograph signing events, all of which will be posted here at SportsGatherings.  A few years ago, before Francisco Rodriguez became a household name, even after his 2002 Angels playoff heroics, K-rod signed free autographs at a similar car dealership promo event.  There were only about 20 people in line and we ended up getting about 4 autographs and “the eye and a smirk” from K-rod because he knew we were taking advantage.  Potential is a dangerous word in sports, but you just never know.
