Baseball (surgery) legend, Tommy John, will be attending the 1st Annual Gary SouthShore RailCats FanFest to sign autographs for fans. Why is Tommy John attending? He will be attending as a special guest to bring some star power to the fan fest.

The only reason why you’d pay $16 for an independent league’s fanfest is to get an autograph of a former Major Leaguer, in this case, Tommy John. If anything it’d be a treat to just take a look at the guy who really coined the term, Tommy John surgery. Tommy won 288 games for his career and is a 4-time all star. He is also the winningest pitcher in baseball history to not be elected into the baseball HOF.
