Houston Astros FanFest Officially Announced For April 4, 2009

Houston Astros fans can finally plan their schedules around the Astros Fanfest slated for April 4, 2009.  The Astros FanFest is unique from the other baseball fanfests in that not only does it take place in April, as opposed to the traditional January-February timeframes, but they are holding the fanfest in conjuction with the club’s exhibition game vs the Cleveland Indians.

WHEN:  Saturday, April 4, 2009
WHERE:  Minute Maid Park
501 Crawford Street, Houston, TX 77002
COST:  Admission to the fanfest is free with required purchase of a game ticket (vs Cleveland Indians); additional fees will apply for autograph sessions

So let us explain how this unique fanfest works:  the fanfest will take simultaneously with the exhibition game vs. the Indians.  You must purchase a ticket to the game at Minute Maid Park which start as low as $7.00.  Admission to the fanfest will then be free. The site also states that autograph sessions will require an additional fee.
