The Green Bay Packers organization is holding a 2009 NFL Draft party on Saturday, April 25, 2009.  This party will include appearances from former and current Packers players.  Party attendees will have the opportunity to get autographs,  attend a Q&A session, and raffle.  For the 2009 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers have the ninth overall pick.  Many draft “experts” are predicting BJ Raji, a defensive tackle out of Boston College, to be drafted in the 9 spot; however, the recently released report of the alleged failed drug test by Raji could make this an interesting pick.  With that said, Raji could very well be a top 5 pick so another scenario would be Malcolm Jenkins, the top cornerback in the draft out of Ohio State.  Should be interesting…

Unfortunately, for those looking to attend the draft party solely for the autographs will be disappointed.  The price of admission will receive a ticket for one randomly assigned, two-player autograph signing session upon entering the event.  In other words, you can’t choose.  Is it worth the $25?  Well, if you care more about the atmosphere which is absolutely great, hanging out with other Cheeseheads, and getting an autograph or two, absolutely.  If you only care about the autograph portion, no, it is not worth it.
