St John Bosco Parish Church located in Conyngham, PA will be hosting a Sports Memorabilia and Autograph Show.  Former NFL players Chuck Bednarik and Bob Tucker as well as former BAA (Basketball Association of America) player Carl Meinhold will be on hand for autograph signings.  Chuck Bednarik spent his entire career with the Philadelphia Eagles.  During his career Bednarik was selected to the Pro Bowl 8 times, was the 1953 Pro Bowl MVP, and was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1967.  Bob Tucker had his best years with the New York Giants.  In 1971 Tucker led the National Conference in pass receptions.  Carl Meinhold played 2 seasons in the BAA from 1947 through 1949.  The BAA or Basketball Association of America was founded in 1946, then merged with the National Basketball League (NBL) in 1949, which ultimately formed the NBA.

With NFL Hall of Famer Chuck Bednarik signing autographs at this sports memorabilia show, this is a must go-to event.  Bednarik is known as one of the most devastating tacklers in NFL history and is considered to be one of the greatest NFL players of all time.  The sports card show will consist of only 15 tables and from our experience with shows this small, autograph signings are usually cheap ranging from $10-$25 for well known players.  Don’t assume the autograph signings are free and confirm before going.  Either way, Bednarik is worth getting on a premium item and worth spending upwards of $50.  Be sure to ask for the HOF 67 inscription.
