Houston Rockets Yao Ming Out for Rest of Playoffs

Houston Rockets logoIt has officially been confirmed.  Houston Rockets center Yao Ming is done for the season due to a hairline fracture in his left foot.  The team physician stated, “No surgery is required” but will require an eight to 12 week rehabilitation period.

Needless to say, the Rockets chances are now officially over.  Congrats to Kobe and the Lakers on advancing to the Western Conference Finals.  With Pau and Bynum backing him up, there’s no chance the Rockets will be able to defend in the paint.
