The Atlanta Braves are launching the Heroes for Hunger campaign.  Braves pitcher Derek Lowe and former Braves pitcher Tom Glavine will be joining the cause in exchange for signing autographs.  With Glavine being released from the team, it will be interesting to see if he will show up.  Derek Lowe and Tom Glavine are both scheduled to appear in the month of June in Monument Grove.

This is an amazing opportunity to get autographs at a very cheap price for two superstar pitchers.  One thing to note is that it will be interesting to see if Tom Glavine will still show up after being released from the team.  To further complicate matters, Glavine is thinking about filing a grievance against the team so if he does show up at Monument Grove, it will surely be an awkward situation.  Let’s see if Glavine will push aside his ego and show up for a good cause.

Either way, make sure you take advantage of getting 2 autographs for 40 canned goods or $40.  Derek Lowe goes for at least $40 for one autograph at card shows, while Glavine, being a 300 game winner and all, goes for at least $60 for one autograph.  These are tremendous deals.
