I have learned that storing a collection can be very expensive. It costs me a LOT more to store my items then it does to get them.I am always looking for ways to display my autographed baseballs. The problem is sometimes it can be very expensive. Finally I saw on ebay that they had these cool home plate holders and I really wanted one. So finally I talked my uncle into making one for me. It took a long time, but it looks great.
![]() But once again, this turned out to be pretty expensive as well, and I needed some more storage. So recently, I was looking through Michaels ad in the paper and I saw they were having a sale on all of their memorbilia display cases. I always look there to see if they ever have any type of display cases or cheap sales on shadow boxes for jerseys. So just recently I found that they added this to their lineup. Originally $40 but on sale I got it for $20, which I thought was a good deal since the cheapest cubes around he are $2.30. It's not the best thing, and I was worried about putting the baseballs in and keeping them in place, but I haven't had a problem yet. It stands up very nicely and looks pretty sharp for $20. You can always get it for that cheap with the 50% of coupon from their ad. So if you want a nice cheap display case for your autographed baseballs I would definately suggest this from Michaels. ![]() If anyone knows a good place to get supplies for storing autographs I would love to hear about them as well. I can't remember exactly what it's called, but it's somthing like uv glass, but it's a lot less money. The guy said it's not that much different than UV glass, and it's a lot cheaper. I just went to a local glass company and told them what I wanted it for and when he said how much the uv glass was I asked if he had another suggestion. This is what he recomended. He said as long as I don't keep it in direct light it should be good. I brought the case in there and they cut the glass to fit and they had those clips put on to hold the glass on there. (trying to figure out how to put the glass on was probably the hardest part) You can just slide the glass up to move things around. I've had it for about two years, and I really love it.
