Where is the best place to try and score autographs at Turner Field? When is the best time?

for a 7 oclock game, get there around 1-2pm.

the braves parking lot is on hank aaron drive. you have to wait behind a fenced off area and call players over as they drive in. i haven't had a whole lot of success there

the away teams are easier, though there are often more people waiting for away teams. all the away players get dropped off on washington st, which is on the other side of the stadium. you stand behind a small barrier and when they get dropped off from their taxis or hotel cars they'll usually sign

if you go down there around 2, you'll find both places pretty easily because there will be plenty of other people hanging around both areas

Thanks. How much success have you had getting autographs in the parking lot? Do players sign in the ballpark before games? Where would be the best place to try to get signatures? behind the dugout? thanks.

well, no one on the braves signs inside the park during batting practice. i don't even try for them. I've never had any braves success other than relievers during BP. i have had success with away teams during BP that either suck or are from the west coast, so they don't have many fans that come watch bp.

the braves are tough in their parking lot, it all depends on how they're feeling. there are days when no one big signs, and there are days where tons of players sign. the only one who is consistent is mike gonzalez and maybe Don Sutton. i know hanson signs occasionally, mccann and chipper apparently sign on their day off (never got them though), hudson will sign if you are polite, buddy carlyle and most of the relievers will sign if you know who they are. Overall though, braves are decent but inconsistent signers

you'll have way more luck picking a series and going to the away team entrance and getting them as they get off their taxis. you're much closer to the players and they're usually pretty polite as long as you are. like i said, go to the gate on washington st and wait

i would suggest trying the marlins and nats on the last homestand. there may not be huge crowds because both teams have been through so many times this year
