Cubs Convention

Just got back from Cubs Convention. Packed as usual. The bigger name guys are scratch off ticket winners only. List included Ryne Sandberg, Andre Dawson, Ernie Banks, Derrek Lee, Carlos Zambrano. I didn't win any of the scratch off's, only ones on the list I even seen all weekend were Dawson and Banks. Dawson wouldn't sign for anyone and Banks was signing somewhere else for about a 1/2 hr but I ended up not getting him due to about 40 people cutting in line. Anyways, these are my results, I was pretty happy. Pics will be up in a bit. I collect any Cubs on ROMLB's.

Just to touch base on your successes Im an Astros fan and I also went on the caravans and got autographs its awesome the feeling of waiting to get that autograph its great!! When you get an a picture card or whatever signed you want to frame it and display it you know. I have gotten several pictures like this and at games and sometimes its picture I've taken gotten printed stood in line or near first base and waited for it was my achievement so i want to display it. One of the issues about framing is conservation and UV damage well I was searching for months and I found pictureshields.com my colleague Ken developed it and its awesome. Check his website out and read the info on the shileds it's inexpensive conserves your hard earned signatures and I know for one I want my pics displayed but protected as well. The shields wont stick to your picture as regular glass would so its great and its %99 UV protected and coated for non-glare you cant even tell its there. I'm not a seller I collect for myself I'm 20 and I just live for the thrill of getting the autograph and displaying my success stories about them. if you decide to buy tell in the comment box tell him Carlos from Houston told you about it. You will love this product easy to use and great for 5x7 all the way to 11x14's im sure there are available too custom sizes you can even cut them yourself its that easy but its great and super cheap. I bought some nice frames at Walmart, some acid free back boards and mats and used these shields and its a great alternative to expensive UV plexi, or other museum conservation supplies. I got Lance Berkman's autograph at one of the caravan's and he got the the shield it looks great and its protected Good luck on those autograph hunts fellas!
