I played hooky from work and went to the Dback vs Giants game yesterday. I went early to catch a ball during batting practice but instead got a couple of IP autographs. Mel Stottlemeyer Jr (Dback Pitching Coach), Clay Zavada (Dback Left-handed reliever, interesting story about how he got to the big league) and Blaine Boyer (right-handed reliever). No big names but still cool.

Nice snag are u going tomm to the card show... zavada and Parra... I will be there ... we should meet... I love playin hooky to go to a game..

Boyer certainly is a nice guy. He was always the only guy to sign when he was with the Braves and he took time to talk to each fan. Good to hear he's caught on with another team.

Clay Zavada was a cool dude.. very humble to be in the bigs... what a guy...

Yea he signs.... he is a really cool dude... he signed a ball for me a few months back... plus when we went to the games he would always say hi... and give my boy a ball.... He should be the skipper instead of HINCH....
