By now I'm sure everyone saw the perfect game that wasn't for Armondo Gallaragga. I have never really been a fan of instant replay, but to see a guy from my own team get deprived of a perfect game on the last out, I may change my mind. As I was watching the game I always say we've got a no hitter goin' even if it's like the second inning. This was the "nearest" perfect game I ever watched for more then just the last few outs so my family and I were super excided going to the last few innings. After Jackson made that great catch we thought he was going to get it for sure. Another easy out, and then with the 9 hitter up, I figured that was it. Then the grounder that changed it all. I thought Cabrera should have left it for Guillen, but as he flipped it to first I thought that was it. He was out by 2 steps! Then the ump goes safe, and that ruined it. I thought they would at least try to get all the umps together to try to reverse it, but no, and that was that.

I AGREE... but the commishner wants to speed up the games... I am happy the umpire apoligized after the game that he messed up... we are human... we make mistakes.. I agree there should have been a meeting to discuss it.. and it should have been over ruled... I feel that he was robbed also...
