new york football challenge

Was in New York for a soccer doubleheader this past Sunday. My favorite team, Tottenham played Sporting Lisbon and the New York Red Bulls played Manchester City

before the first game, Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp and midfielder Luka Modric signed my jersey





after the second game, Mac Kandji of the New York Red Bulls signed two programs for me from his Atlanta Silverbacks days. He used to play for the lower division team here in Atlanta and he and I know each other.



sidenote: NYRB security thinks that these guys are like the Yankees. I had never been threatened with arrest trying to get an autograph until Kandji stopped his car for me. Their security was unbelievable.
