Reviving SportsGatherings.com Main Site - Need help

[Sports Gatherings]

As many of you are aware, the main sportsgatherings.com site has not been updated in quite some time. However, I'd like to get it up and running again. Now that the Sports Gatherings Forum (SGF) is being updated almost daily thanks to Matt aka XxHoodlumxX as well as help from our helpful members, the main SG website will not be posting any new autograph signings. It's just too much work.


Instead, the main website will now contain

• occasional autograph signing
• fresh sports news
• articles
• lists (top 10 lists)
• picture caption headlines where we ask you to come up with the most clever captions.

If you'd like to contribute to any of the above, let me know by emailing sportsgatherings@gmail.com and I'll send you more details. You will be credited for your work with a link back to your website (whether it's a blog, Twitter page, facebook page, etc) and you will also receive occasional thank you gifts such as trading cards/boxes, signed memorabilia, etc.

The great thing about sportsgatherings is that the site is ranked on the 1st page of google for "autograph signings", which is huge. So you know the exposure is there. Before I started getting tied up with work and stopped updating the site, the site was getting nearly 500 unique visitors daily and rising every week, unfortunately, now it has dropped to about 100 consistent unique daily visitors. If you all care about alexa rankings, which ranks the traffic of all sites, sportsgatherings.com was ranked in the 200,000 range and continuing to climb up every single month. Unfortunately, it has fallen tremendously since it has not been updated often enough or recently enough. Because I was able to rank highly in certain keywords in google while I was updating almost daily, there is tons of potential for the site to get exposure and for you to get exposure for your work.

First Off Nick thanks for listen to our suggestions you rock ... The site is looking really good on the changes.. I agree with the main site thingy... Just have some update saying to check out the madhouse forum... Where Hoodie does the cha cha...
